Science is a pattern for understanding patterns so that we can build better patterns to discover novel patterns that better define the pattern of science.

Several weeks ago I started drawing this in order to resurface my understanding of basic anatomy, and to learn something new. Also, hands are just incredibly hard to visualize and illustrate.

While it’s certainly not 100% anatomically correct, it’s easily the best skeletal hand I’ve sunk hours and hours into.

Here’s an early (super early) render of a side project I’m working on. If you can’t guess, it’s the frame for a futuristic sky rail. That’s not going to be the focus of the image though… far from it, actually.
